Join us for a bite to eat and the viewing of Leap of Faith, the story of B.K.S Iyengar.

The movie spans nine decades, with a rare footage of his early years and practice, as well as new and extensive footage of his life in Yoga practice, teaching, interviews and daily existence.

Indian food and Chai provided….. BYO beanbags, pillows and rugs.

kids & family community yoga class saturday january the 9th 2010, 4 - 5pm

KIDS AND FAMILY YOGA COMMUNITY CLASS: Open to all kids ages 3-9 and their parents!

Come play, have fun, and explore yoga together.

By donation, with all proceeds going to the community. You do not need to be in the full three-day Teacher Training to participate in the Community Class. Preregistration required: just send us an email with your name, and your child’s name and age, to info@rainbowkidsyoga.net , indicating that you are registering for the Sydney Community Class.

A Day of Celebration - December 14th 2008

A Garland for Guruji – 90th Birthday Celebrations

Join us in Celebrating Mr Iyengar’s 90th Birthday by taking part in a 90 minute Led practice.

When: 12:30pm on Sunday the 14th of December

Where: Yoga To Go Studio

Cost: donations will be welcomed for The Bellur Trust in India

The trust formed by Guruji, his family and students, with the objective of undertaking educational, social, cultural and health related projects for the upliftment of the people of Bellur, a poor and backward village in southern India where Guruji, BKS Iyengar was born and lived as a young boy.

All students Level 1 & up are welcome

Please ensure that you arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior and are settled and ready to commence at 12.30pm

All participants are then invited to stay for refreshments after the practice

We then welcome everyone to the Petersham Bowling Club from 3pm for an afternoon of fun and entertainment as we celebrate our students, staff, kids and greater community.
